For the longest time, customers that do know a little bit about their operation in Brazil have asked them to publish how they do what they do. And most important, why they do what they do. No, I’m not talking about the new washes or the new techniques used on the latest trend in denim couture. I’m talking about the people, their people in Brazil that make it all possible. As they grew their operations in the big city, they had to move to smaller towns in order to grow. They researched some nearby towns and found about 3 towns that specialized in embroidery. Not the kind of embroidery your used to, but the more traditional work done on linens and towels. But what was most amazing (and quite sad!) to them, was to find out what those skilled workers were getting paid for their work. Basically slave work. They thought there were a lot of possibilities in every front. They could get a high quality work AND improve the lives of so many. They started training the people and the people took a chance on BrazilRoxx. Slowly they created a small revolution in those little towns. They were finally getting rewarded for their work. BrazilRoxx was paying about 10 times what they were used to and even husbands were quitting their jobs in order to work for them! They finally understood the meaning of ‘being able to afford it’. BrazilRoxx never advertised their ' modus operandis' before because they didn’t think people in the rich countries would care what they pay their people but they found more and more people do care. Even though they get daily requests to manufacture in China or India for 1/5 of the cost, they don’t believe ChinaRoxx would be an appropriate name! They are proud to do it in Brazil! A few extra bucks saved in labor cost, could never give as much satisfaction as seeing the smiling faces of their people. Eliana - BrazilRoxx USA   It is interesting from a social perspective that most BrazilRoxx employees work at home. In their home city of 17 million people, commuting is difficult at best! So they prefer to let many of their skilled workers work at home and they employ about 40 people on "motobikes" to pick up and deliver the pieces around town. Only about 25% of their employees work at the final assembly "factory". At BrazilRoxx, they listen and they care. The result is that everybody wins!    Please view the latest creations..
